i had an amazing weekend! one that consisted of wedding dress shopping (my friend said yes to the dress!), and the first sleepover in years! one that i will remember, and cherish forever.

the girl who falls into fountains

today my friend and i went on a mish to take pictures in front of this really cool fountain that is in front of a business building. well it was windy. and we were trying to be sneaky. and we were trying to be fast. well you can just guess what happened next. ok, i'll tell you- i fell into the freaking fountain! needless to say, we had to abort the mission since it did not go as planned.

this past weekend was just amazing. we had gorgeous weather in the high 70's! i thought today would just as hot, so i took bailey out to the pier. boy was i wrong. it was cold, in the low 60's (thats southern california weather for ya). def not a beach day. but she loved it nonetheless. when i am close to the beach, i forget about wanting to be a big-city-gal. i mean, how could you look out into the horizon and want to be anywhere else.

this week has been a good one. i have started reading again. oh my goodness, does it feel good! i love how i can get completely lost and distracted from my own troubles and thoughts. work hasn't been all that bad either. i've been super busy, which just makes the time fly by. and yesterday, when i got off of work, it was gorgeous out. i drove all the way home with my windows down and sunroof open. love days like that. it just puts me in this amazing mood. 

oh and bailey decided she wanted to be in my pictures. she looks so tiny here! but we all know she is one chubby pup.

8. buying new sunglasses that replaced a broken pair

9. i am honestly loving that i started reading again. seriously feels the best to just lie in bed and read

10. i cannot get over bright colors right now, especially neon!
