this glorious fountain is about 5 mins from where i live. the 5-year-old in me wanted to run through it, but the adult, 22-year-old me decided against it (what a party-pooper).  i just couldn't do that to my new top. it is everything i live for- lace and sheer-ness. there's just something about the two that i cannot get over. and it's all in this top! two for one deal. obsessed.

the hills are aliiiiiiive

this is the amazing view i am lucky enough to admire while at work. i always think to myself, "this would be perfect for my blog!!" i mean c'mon, just look at those hills! so yesterday i took a little adventure outside while on break. and if you couldn't tell from the pictures, it was an extremely windy day, which made it nearly dang impossible to capture any decent pictures. also, it has become apparent that i am no model. there was a lot of "what should i do now?" and "i don't know what to do." 

i'm hoping that A: saturdays will become a routine blog-picture-day, B: this backdrop of amazingness will be used more in the future, and C: after studying some fav bloggers, i will become a pro at these photo seshes.

3. rediscovering certain articles of clothing that have been hiding in my closet
4. neutrals mixed with bright colors, like camel and hot pink
5. going outside for a break at work- i needed some fresh air and afternoon sun
6. taking ridiculously long naps
7. copper covered champagne bottles- i need to actually buy some next time!
8. reading trivia about my favorite movies
9. delicious japanese rice candy! i haven't had any in ages (i used to have it all the time when i was younger)
10. that the weekend is almost here (i unfortunately work wed-sat). working overtime has really pooped me out

happiest place

m and i had an amazing day at disneyland yesterday. we are officially annual passholders to the happiest place on earth! i practically jumped with joy and danced around when we got them. when cast members asked if we were annual passholders, we finally got to say YES! it was so exciting! now we get discounts at the restaurants and shops (i believe discounted rates at the hotel too) :) BOOM. the trip was amazing.  it wasn't crowded at all, the weather was just right, we had our corn dogs and clam chowder bread bowls, and m bought me an ariel scarf. what a perfect way to celebrate our 3 years together. perfect.

leather and leopard

i took my best friend to the airport tuesday, and on my way back i found myself stopping at the mall for black jeans. i may have went a little crazy (bought way too much, something i do often) and picked up these sweet babies. i love the sophistication of the leather pointed toe and in contrast, the playful leopard wedge. i can't wait to wear them out! one problem: i'm allllllllllllmost taller than michael in the leopard ones. almost. oh and amidst all the shopping, i didn't even buy black jeans. how does that always happen?
