fall?

the past couple of days have felt a little more like summer than fall. i should not have to resort to wearing shorts out to a family dinner especially seeing that it is practically november. but this happened to be the case today. it felt a little weird to me, so i made sure to incorporate fall colors and some booties. where the heck did you go fall?

a day in central park

dress & tights: target, shoes: bakers, coat & belt: forever21, scarf: american eagle

i only spent 2 days in new york, but it was long enough to make me appreciate home in the west coast. the city is very congested, not to mention the amount of people on the street at any given time! although i didn't particularly care for the hustle and bustle, i quite enjoyed central park. even if i only got to see a small portion of it, i think it has to be one of my favorite parts of ny. if given the chance, i would've spent all day there.

yesterday i spent the day in georgetown having lunch and shopping. i simply love it here. i love the feeling of the country with a bit of city thrown in. i was prepared for some cool weather, but it was 73 out. def was too hot for a chunky sweater and boots. i cannot wait to see what else d.c. has in store for me. i just have one simple, little request when i'm out and about on my adventures here. some crisp air please? i'm ready for fall!

yesterday was the first time flying by myself, and i successfully made it to my destination! i am now currently in washington, d.c. visiting my best friend. i'll be here for about a week! i'm excited for all that d.c. has to offer and some quality girl time. oh! and don't forget how excited/ready i am to wear boots, scarves, sweaters and tights! so bring it on d.c., i'm prepared for your cool, brisk breezes.
