dear first apartment,

in exactly 8 days, i will be moving into you! i am giddy from excitement, and the anticipation is somewhat killing me. i cannot wait until you are all set up. i've dreamt about you ever since i was a little girl, and it's finally happening. i have very high hopes for you first apartment, so don't let me down.

1. my new mason jar wine glasses. a surprise from him... the sweetest 
2. escaping the sweltering heat (and recovering from the pasadena flea market) at a floating sushi bar
3. spending hours at ikea and buying goodies for the apartment
4. adding a bow to any hair style
5. having a craft day and making a new bracelet and rings
6. finally going line dancing after a long hiatus
7. anything and everything from anthropologie
8. my new books! very excited about these. i've been eyeballing the love book for ages
9. the crazy stuff my best friend and i come up with
10. ok this parisian style guide is to die for. WANT!

my mother's birthday party was on saturday, and before dinner, the boy and i snuck away to take bailey for a walk. it was particularly lovely; the weather was perfect, and i was with my two favorites. it turned out to be a wonderful evening, surrounded by laughter, loved ones, and one spoiled pup.

i bought a welcome mat

so it's official. i'm finally moving out!

this means being out on my own for the first time, decorating and putting together a whole apartment, learning how to budget, and not to mention, growing up.

although i will miss my family and little bailey mae terribly,  i am so excited to start this new journey.

i seriously cannot wait.

2. a carousel ride at disneyland 

3. drinking a bit too much at the mad tea party at disneyland california adventure 

4. staying home sick (not fun), but being able to spend the WHOLE day with him. we don't ever get to do that

7. baby piggies at the fair! soooooo cute 

8. the best chocolate ever -- disney mint chocolate
